¶1There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

¶2Learned counsel for the State has submitted that the writ petition has been filed assailing the order dated 26.09.2006.

¶3Learned counsel for the State states that by way of the impugned order the petitioner has been transferred for a period of six months on a temporary basis on 26.09.2006, the period of six months has already elapsed way back. Therefore, the instant petition has lost its efficacy and it may be dismissed as such.
