¶1The writ petition was filed in the year 2000 seeking direction to opposite parties to pay salary to petitioner regularly month to month basis on the post of Assistant Teacher.
¶2Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this court vide interim order dated 9.1.2007 has directed the opposite parties to make payment of salary regularly to the petitioner. The operative portion of interim order on reproduction reads as under:- "Accordingly, the respondents are directed to pay regular monthly salary to the petitioner with effect from 1.1.2007 and continue to pay the same every month, provided the employer-employee relations are continuing."
¶3Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the aforesaid interim order the petitioner is getting salary regularly and is still working.
¶4In view of above, I am of the considered view that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending. Writ petition is disposed of in terms of interim order passed by this court. In case petitioner is still working and getting salary, he shall be allowed to continue to work and paid salary till a regularly selected candidate is made available to the Institution, on the post on which the petitioner is working.
