The petitioner has approached this Court claiming that the police is interfering in peaceful possession over the property with regard to which there is private dispute between the petitioner and his family members. Learned Standing Counsel on instruction received from Respondent Nos.2 to 4 states that the dispute between the petitioner and his family members is private in nature and the police is only maintaining law and order and is not interfering in any manner. The said dispute can only be decided before appropriate Civil Court where the matter is pending. He further states that the police shall fully abide by the order passed by the appropriate Court.
