¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State.

¶2Petitioner appears to have made an application for issuance of the caste certificate. It appears that some reports were called for and the matter is pending before the competent authority.

¶3It is expected that the necessary decision on the issuance of the caste certificate be taken expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of the order is filed before the authorities concerned.
