¶1It is informed by the respective counsel for the parties that during the course of proceedings before the Conciliation and Settlement Committee for major ports, a resolution has been arrived at in the matter. A copy of the detailed report of the Chairman of the Conciliation and Settlement Committee has been handed over during the course of the hearing.

¶2Respective counsel for the parties submit that the controversy stands resolved in terms of the decision and agreement as recorded in the said minutes.

¶3This Court puts on record its appreciation for the efforts made by the Chairman of the Committee in bringing about a resolution of the matter. The same has obviated/protracted the arbitral proceedings between the parties.

¶4With the consent of the respective counsel for the parties, it is directed This is a digitally signed order. that both the petitioner and the respondent shall pay a sum of Rs. 1,50,000/- each as honorarium to the Chairman of the Conciliation and Settlement Committee.

¶5The petition is disposed of taking on record the understanding/ agreement between the parties as reflected in the aforesaid minutes.
