¶1The present petition has been filed for the following reliefs: "a. Issue a writ in the nature of Certiorari quashing the Order no. F.10(114/SCJ-3)/CJ/ LEGAL/PHQ/2026/5449 DATED 24.07.2026 passed by the Respondent; and b. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to release the petitioner on Parole for a period of three months; or"

¶2As per the Nominal Roll, the petitioner has already been granted the This is a digitally signed order. first spell of furlough from the office of DG(P), Tihar on 30.07.2026 and he has been released on 10.08.2026 to avail the said furlough. As per Rule 1212 of the Delhi Prison Rules, 2018 [Rules], there should be a one-month gap between parole and the last furlough availed and vice versa.

¶3Since the petitioner is already availing furlough, and therefore is not entitled for consideration of parole simultaneously.

¶4In view of the aforesaid, the petitioner has to take the remedy in accordance with Rule 1212 of the Rules.

¶5Petition stands disposed of, at this stage
