Page 2 of 2 pages accepts notice.
¶4I have spoken with respondent no.2 in Hindi and it is stated by her that now for past six years she has been residing with the petitioners happily and has settled all her disputes. It is further submitted by respondent no.2 that from her wedlock with petitioner no.1, one son was born, who is currently aged 16 years and is living with them. Since now they are living happily as a family, respondent no.2 submits that she does not want to continue prosecution of the petitioners.
¶5Having spoken with respondent no.2, I am satisfied that it would be in the interest of justice not to push the parties through full dress trial.
¶6Therefore, the petition is allowed and FIR No. 258/2015 of PS Badarpur for offence under Section 498A/406/506/323/34 IPC as well as proceedings arising out of the same are quashed. Accompanying applications also stand disposed of.
