¶1Petitioner herein seeks his release on parole for a period of four weeks. It is submitted that application was filed on 30.04.2026, which has yet not been decided.

¶2Learned Addl. Standing Counsel for respondent/State submits that present petition has now become infructuous for the reason that petitioner herein has already been granted First Spell of Furlough, in terms of order dated 14.08.2026 and has been released from jail on 17.08.2026.

¶3Copy of aforesaid order has been shown during the course of the arguments, which is retained on record. Copy thereof has also been supplied to learned counsel for petitioner, who submits that she, somehow, did not get any such information from the petitioner. This is a digitally signed order. ¶4Be that as it may, in view of aforesaid subsequent development, learned counsel for petitioner does not press for any relief at this juncture and seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file application afresh seeking release on parole, after receiving further requisite instructions in this regard from the petitioner.

¶5Petition stands disposed of in aforesaid terms.

¶6Pending application also stands disposed of in aforesaid terms.
