¶1The present petition has been filed for the following reliefs: "a) To issue directions / orders directing to quash the FIR No . 281/2024 This is a digitally signed order. dated 20.05.2024 at Police Station Malviya Nagar registered Under Sec 420 /34"

¶2It is stated that this petition is filed on the basis of the purported settlement.

¶3Respondent no.2 has not appeared.

¶4According to the petitioner, respondent no.2 has denied the settlement. This aspect cannot be adjudicated in this instant petition.

¶5If the petitioner has a case on merit, he is entitled to file a fresh petition. However, on the basis of purported settlement, and in the absence of respondent no.2, the FIR and all action cannot be quashed.
