¶3The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners" appeal filed before the Commissioner (Appeals), Delhi was also listed on 14.11.2024 but could not be taken up.

¶4In these circumstances, we direct the Commissioner (Appeals) to take up the petitioners" appeal in question and conclude the same after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within a period of eight weeks from date.

¶5Insofar as the petitioners" challenge to the order dated 08.04.2021 is concerned, the petitioners have already filed an appeal against the said order, including on the ground that the said order was barred by limitation. The Commissioner (Appeals) shall also consider the said issue and take an informed decision. Since the petitioners have already availed of the remedy of appeal in respect of order dated 08.04.2021, we do not consider it apposite to entertain the challenge to the said order in this petition. However, we clarify that all the contentions of the parties are reserved.

¶6The present petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
