¶1Present appeal has been filed challenging the order dated 16th August, 2024 passed by the learned Single Judge in OMP No.424/2011 whereby the learned Single Judge condoned a delay of 365 days in filing the restoration application and restored OMP No.424/2011.

¶2After some arguments, learned counsel for the appellant states that the appellant would be satisfied in the event this Court were to expedite the hearing and disposal of OMP No.424/2011.

¶3Keeping in view the fact that OMP No.424/2011 has been pending since 2011, this Court is of the view that the request made by learned counsel for the appellant is fair and reasonable. This is a digitally signed order. 4. Accordingly, the present appeal along with the applications is disposed of with a direction to the learned Single Judge to decide OMP No.424/2011 as expeditiously as possible preferably within three months from today. This Court clarifies that it has not commented on the merits of the controversy. The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open.
