25.11.2011 By this petition the grievance of the Petitioner is that his application for parole is pending with the Government and the same is not being decided by the Government. As per the status report, handed over today in Court the application for grant of parole to the petitioner was considered and rejected by the competent authority and the communication in this regard was addressed by the department to the Petitioner through the Superintendent, Tihar Jail vide its letter dated 29^*" June, 2011. However, the Petitionerhas been granted furlough for a period of thi'ee weeks twice in this year, that is, from 27^'^ June, 2011 to 19^^ July, 2011 and from 21'' October,2011 to 12^' November, 2011. In view of this fact that the Petitioner has already been granted furlough twice in this year, I fmd no reason to grant parole to the Petitioner. Petition is dismissed.
