¶1By way of the present petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of the FIR bearing No. 0079/2019, registered at Police Station Jama Masjid, Delhi, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 341/354/354(D)/506/509 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC').

¶2The victim, who appears before this Court, states that she was under an impression that some terms and conditions have been reduced into writing against the petitioner herein, regarding her safety in future, amongst those things, which have not been mentioned in the present petition, lest it would affect the trial, which is pending before the learned Trial Court. The victim already stands examined before the learned Trial Court, wherein she has supported the prosecution case. Further, though it is mentioned in the This is a digitally signed order. petition that the FIR in this case was lodged under some misunderstanding, the victim denies that she had made the statement or that the FIR was lodged under some misunderstanding.

¶3In these circumstances, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh petition, after entering into a fresh compromise between the parties.

¶4Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

¶5The order be uploaded on the website forthwith.
