10.07.2013 This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Case of prosecution is that secret information was received in the office of SOS Crime Branch, Delhi to the effect that one Sandeep Kumar and his associates were indulging in selling of sim cards in bulk quantity and those sim cards have been activated on fake/forged IDs. It is alleged that a deal was done through a decoy customer and Sandeep Kumar and his associates were apprehended from the residence-cum-office of said Sandeep Kumar. The decoy customer settled the deal of purchase of 700 sim cards of Tata and Reliance without ID proofs and photographs. The deal was settled and the 700 sim cards were sold to the decoy customer. Thereafter, Sandeep Kumar was arrested. During the investigation it has been revealed that the present petitioner is one of the distributors regarding the alleged recovered 700 sim cards and the same were activated by M/s Bansal Agencies owned BAIL APPLN. 1011/2013 by the present petitioner having his office at 173, Gali Kinari Wali, Naya Bans, Delhi on the basis of fake IDs. The allegations are also that petitioner is absconding. Further allegations are that the alleged sim cards have been sold to anti-social elements on the basis of forged IDs and the same are used to commit crime/cheat innocent people. Considering the seriousness of offences, present is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. Application is rejected. VEENA BIRBAL, J JULY 10,2013 kks BAILAPPLN. 1011/2013 Page2of2
