¶1This petition is filed seeking directions to the respondents for rectification of the land records bearing Khasra No.847/2 situated in the revenues estate of Village Mahipal Pur, Delhi.

¶2The grievance raised in the petition is that the application submitted for rectification of the land records on 28.03.2024 annexed with the Annexure-5 of the petition, has not been dealt with till date.

¶3It is an undisputed fact that the land in question has been urbanized. The issue that after urbanization of the land, which authority has to carry out demarcation is sub-judice before a Larger Bench of this Court.

¶4This writ petition is disposed of at this stage with the direction that the This is a digitally signed order. respondents shall immediately decide the application for rectification of the land records after the decision of the Larger Bench and if so required would transfer the application to the competent authority.

¶5In case of an inordinate delay, the petitioners shall be at liberty to avail remedies in accordance with law.
