ORDER olo 2a.O7.2OLO This petition under section 482 Cr.P.C has been preferred by the petitioners for quashing the FIR No.3O1 of 1999 registered at police station Badarpur under sections 39 and 4L of the Indian Electricity Act and Section 379 of IPC. The present FIR was registered on account of dishonest abstraction of energy. There is a provision for compounding of the offence for dishonest abstraction of energy. The compounding has been so done between the parties before Lok Adalat of this Court and the amount, as agreed between the parties, has been paid' In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, the petition is allowed and the FIR No.301 of 1999 registered at police station Badarpur under sections 39 and 4L of the Indian Electricity Act and Sectio n 379 of IPC is hereby quashed.
