Judgment

ORDER

24.tti.2011 Although in this matter we had heard arguments some time back and the same was reserved for judgment, we have thought it fit to, once again, ascertain the wishes of Nibha Singh before we did that. It is for this reason that this matter was listed upon our directions given on21.10.2011. We also note that Nibha Singh is now over 18 years of age inasmuch as her admitted date of birth is 09.10.1993. In other words, she turned 18 on 09.10.20011. Today, when we asked Nibha Singh where she wants to reside, she has categorically stated that she wants to reside with her parents. In view ofthe fact that she is now over 18 years and that she has, ofher own accord, decided to stay with her parents, the petitioner would have to be left to his other remedies available in law, if any. Insofar as the present petition is concerned, the same stands disposed of in view of the fact that Nibha Singh, being an adult, has indicated her th ') Certify that the digital and physical file have been compared and the digital data is as per the physical file and no page is missing. \/ \> desire to stay with her parents and we cannet prevent her from doing so particularly when her parents are also willing to keep Nibha Singh with them. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. 1y'7774n(, BADAR DURREZ AHMED, J ocToBER24,20lr SR v. K. JAIN, F a t
