ORDER
28.09.2010 Respondent No. 2 is present along with her father and brother. Let her statement be recorded on oath. I have heard the statement made by the respondent No. 2. I have also examined the allegations made in the FIR No. 268/2005, Police Station Seelampur under Section 498-A/406/34 IPC. Matrimonial discord has resulted in initiation of criminal proceedings under Section 498-A/406/34 IPC on a complaint made by the respondent No. 2. The parties have now amicably resolved their differences and the terms and conditions of settlement are incorporated in the settlement agreement dated 20th July, L010. Looking at the nature of the dispute and the ract that the parties have entered into a settlement, I do not think any useful purpose will be served by continuing with the prosecution. Prosecution evidence IS still being recorded. The present petition is allowed and the FIR No. 268/2005, Police Station Seelampur under Section 498-A/406/34 IPC and the resultant proceedings Certify that the digital file and physical file have been compared and the digital data is as per the physical file and no page is missing.
