23.09.2010 This petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No. 244/2004, registered under Section 498A/406/34 IP at P.S. Hauz Qazi, Delhi. The complainant Aisha Begum is present in the court today. She has been identified by SI Bihari Lai from P.S. Hauz Qazi. She states that she is now divorced and has received her Mehar and does not want to pursue the case emanating out of this FIR any further. Since the FIR was a result of matrimonial discord between the parties and they have settled their disputes amicably outside the Court, and parties jointly pray for quashing of FIR, I allow this petition. FIR No. No. 244/2004, registered under Section 498A/406/34 IPG at P.S. Hauz Qazi, Delhi and the criminal proceedings arising out of the FIR, are hereby quashed. Dasti.
