# ^ %. 27.09.2010 Present: Mr. H.J.S. Ahluwalia, Adv. for the petitioner. Mr. M.P. Singh, AFP for the State with SI Muneesh Kumar, P.S. Dr. Ambedkar Nagar. Mr. Jagjit Singh, Adv. for respondent No. 2. +Crl. M.C. No. 3091/2010 •k On the complaint of respondent No. 2 FIR No. 488/2007 under Sections 448/506 IPG was registered at police station Dr. Ambedkar Nagar. Certain civil disputes were also pending between the parties. Bone of contention was a plot of land bearing No. J-510-136 Western Avenue, Sainik Farms, New Delhi. Now, parties have resolved all their disputes with regard to this plot, inasmuch as, a compromise decree has been passed by the Additional District Judge (South) on 2^^ May, 2009 in Suit No. 81/2009. In view of statement of respondent No. 2, who is present in the Court, states that she is no more interested in pursuing her complaint any further. In terms of settlement, ? 10 lacs has already been paid by the petitioner to respondent No. 2 before the court of ADJ (South). Remaining settled amount of ^ 15 lacs has been paid by the petitioner to respondent No. 2 today in the Court by way of cheque bearing No. 131170 dated Certify that the digital file and physical file have been compared and the digital data is as per the physical file and no page is missing. 27^ September, 2010 drawn on Jammu & Kashmir Bank Limited, Greater Kailash Part I, New Delhi-110048. In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, I am of the view that no fruitful purpose would be served by compelling the parties to continue to litigate a protracted trial. In the larger interest I quash the FIR No. 488/2007 under Sections 448/506 IPG was registered at police station Dr. Ambedkar Nagar and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. September 27, 2010 rb
