By this application, the petitioner seeks release of the sum of ₹5,00,000/- deposited by the petitioner before the Registrar General of this Court pursuant to the order dated 25th September, 2012 on the ground that the petitioner has been discharged in case FIR No. 285/2018 under Sections 408/120B IPC.

On a notice being issued a status report has been filed verifying the fact that the petitioner has been discharged by the learned CMM, Rohini Court on 16th February, 2018 though charge for offence punishable under Section 408 IPC has been framed against co-accused Prakash Verma who was the employee of the company. It is stated that one more accused Virender is a proclaimed offender. BAIL APPLN. 1395/2012

Be that as it may since the petitioner has been discharged in the above noted FIR the amount of ₹5,00,000/- as deposited by the petitioner pursuant to the order dated 25th September, 2012 with the Registrar General in the form of a FDR along with the interest that has accrued thereon be released to the petitioner by the Registry.

Application is disposed of.
