11.11.2011 This petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No. 78/2008 P.S. Patel Nagar under section 498-A/406/34 IPG on the ground that respondent No. 2 has remarried petitioner No. 1. Petitioner No. 1 and respondent No. 2 are present in person with their counsels. It is stated that their first marriage was divorce^vide decree of divorce ^icj mutual consent dated 27.4.2010. However, thereafter good sense prevailed upon them and in order to take care of their baby they got remarried on 5.11.2011 as per Hindu rites and ceremonies and now they are living together happily as husband and wife. Respondent No. 2 states that she has no grievance against the petitioner and his other family members. Since both the parties have arrived at a settlement, no useful Certify that the digital file and physical file have been compared and a purpose would be served by continuing with the FIR. Consequently, FIR No. 78/2008 P.S. Patel Nagar under section 498-A/406/34 IPG and all proceedings emanating there from are hereby quashed. The petition stands disposed of.
