After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner shall be satisfied if the trial is expedited. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the Trial Court to expedite the trial.
Mr. Dutta states that out of 30 witnesses, 18 have already been examined and the examination of the remaining 12 witnesses, who are formal witnesses primarily would be completed without any delay.
The prosecution shall produce the witnesses on the date fixed henceforth and shall not seek any adjournment. It is hoped that the remaining prosecution evidence shall be recorded within the next three months.
