¶1There is representation on behalf of the applicants/respondents. However, Mr. Amit Sethi appears for the non-applicant/petitioner.

¶2Issue Notice. Mr. Amit Sethi accepts notice. He does not wish to file reply as the application only seeks extension of time to comply with the directions contained in the judgment dated 9.11.2017.

¶3As per the judgment, the applicants/respondents were directed to consider the non-applicant/petitioner"s case for payment of enhanced rent having regard to the observations made in the very same judgment. This decision was to be taken within a period of eight weeks from that date and was required to be communicated to the non-applicant/petitioner.

¶4The applicants/respondents have, broadly, stated that since the rent payable would be more than Rs.1,00,000/-, it is beyond the financial power vested in the Chief Post Master General, Delhi Circle and, consequently, it would have to be referred to the Postal Directorate for necessary action. It is further stated that the process in this behalf has already been initiated.

¶5In these circumstances, further eight weeks are granted to the applicants/ respondents. The period of eight weeks will commence from today.

¶6The application is disposed of.

¶7At this stage, Mr. Sandeep Mahapatra appears for the applicants/respondents. He is apprised with the directions passed by the Court.
