02.11.2017 Petitioner has approached this Court alleging unauthorized constructions in as many as 19 properties falling within the jurisdiction of EDMC. During the course of hearing, an anxiety developed as to the cause arising to the petitioner to file the instant petition. On being queried, ld. counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not a social worker, but, a property dealer. Is it that the instant petitioner could see only 19 unauthorized constructions getting raised in East Delhi? Ld. counsel for the petitioner is unable to explain. One can take judicial note of the fact that unauthorized constructions are getting raised unabatedly. Strong nexus amongst the builders, officials of municipalities, police and others seems to be prevailing over. Be that as it may, a person, alike the petitioner, who at random has chosen to approach this Court with some specific properties, cannot be allowed to misuse the process of the Court. As for the prevailing strong nexus of the builders/officials of municipalities, police and others, another bunch of petitions is coming up before this Court today only and therefore, it is not considered necessary to pass further directions in the instant matter. In view thereof, the petition is dismissed. It is however, expected of the respondent-EDMC to look into the contents of the instant petition and take the necessary actions as expeditiously as possible, as provided for under law. A. K.
