Heard Mr. S. S. Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State respondent.

This is an application under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused/petitioner, who is apprehending arrest in connection with F.I.R. dated 28.12.2023, lodged before the Dispur Police Station.

It is submitted by Mr. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, that as per the direction of this Court, he has received the report from the Officer-In-Charge of Dispur Police Station, wherein it is specifically stated that no case is registered or pending against the present accused/petitioners. In view of the submission of learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this anticipatory bail application has become infructuous and accordingly, the same stands disposed of.
