ORDER Date : 10-01-2024 Heard Mr. A Paul learned counsel for the petitioner. The petitioner is a defendant before the learned trial court. While filing written statement he had objected to the valuation of the suit but the learned trial did not accept the said point. Page No.# 2/2 I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. This court has already settled in the case of Padmini Mahanta Vs. Narayan Choudhury reported in (2002) 1 GLT 178, that valuation of the suit is a matter between the court and the plaintiff and the defendant has nothing to do with it. In view of the said fact, I find this CRP to be devoid of merit and is accordingly dismissed.
