Case No. 39/2020, registered under Section 366 of the Indian Penal Code. It is submitted at the bar that the case has been charge-sheeted and summons have already been issued for the appearance of the petitioner by the trial court. In view of the said submissions, this court is of the considered opinion that this anticipatory bail application can be disposed of with a direction that the petitioner shall appear before the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nagaon (Assam) within a period of 10(ten) days from today and till then, he shall not be arrested. Upon his appearance, the trial court shall consider the prayer for bail on its own merit. This disposes of the anticipatory bail application.
