ORDER

27.02.2024

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner today on call. When the writ petition was listed earlier on 22.02.2024, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner on that occasion also. Mr. P. Bharadwaj, learned counsel for the respondent IOCL authorities who was present on 22.02.2024, is also in attendance today. Mr. Bharadwaj has, on instruction, submitted that the IOCL authorities are not proceeding with the selection process of Rural [Kisan Seva Kendra] Retail Outlet Dealership for the location, Biswanath Chariali – Pavoi Road, District – Sonitpur in terms of the Advertisement dated 25.10.2014, published in the Assam Tribune [Annexure-4 to the writ petition]. Be that as it may. As the petitioner is found unrepresented on two consecutive occasions, it appears that the petitioner is not interested to pursue the writ petition. The writ petition is, therefore, dismissed for non-prosecution.
