02.02.2024 Mrs. N Saikia, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to direction of this Court's order dated 27.10.2017 passed in WP(C) No. 3380/2016, a Page No.# 2/2 speaking order has been passed wherein the claim of the petitioner has been negated. In that view of the matter, Mrs. Saikia, learned counsel submits that she will not press this contempt petition, however, she may be granted a liberty to approach this court if any further grievance regarding speaking order or consideration for promotion still remains. This court is also of the view that as speaking orders dated 02.09.2023 and

02.01.2019 have already been passed, nothing survives in the contempt petition. However, the petitioner shall always be at liberty to assail any such speaking order(s), if so advised. Accordingly, this contempt petition stands closed.
