Mozaffor Hussain v. The State of Assam and 3 Ors

ORDER

31.07.2024 Heard Shri H. Das, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Shri N. Upadhyay, learned Standing Counsel, Irrigation Department. The matter pertains to a claim for pension. The petitioner who was a regularised Muster Roll employee had gone on superannuation on 31.12.2019 and this writ petition was instituted in the year 2023. On the last occasion, i.e., 17.07.2024, the learned Standing Counsel, AG, Shri B. Chakraborty, was directed to obtain instructions. Shri Chakraborty, the learned Standing Counsel as per instructions has submitted that the P.P.O. has already been issued and this fact is confirmed by Shri H. Das, the learned counsel for the petitioner. He has also forwarded the relevant communication of forwarding the P.P.O. and the connected documents relating to DCRG. In view of the above development, there is no requirement to proceed any further with this writ petition and accordingly the same is closed.
