On the Death of Anirban Roy His Legal Heir Smt. Olymia Roy v. The State Bank of India Anad 5 Ors

29.01.2024 Heard Mr. G. J. Sharma, learned counsel for the applicant. This I.A. has been filed with a prayer to substitute the legal heir of Late Anirban Roy, who expired on 05.11.2023 during the pendency of the connected writ petition. I have perused the statements made in the I.A. Mr. Sharma submits that the applicant is the wife of the deceased employee and is one of the surviving legal heirs of deceased Anirban Roy. It is also the submission of the applicant that the son of the deceased is already impleaded as petitioner No.2 in the connected writ petition. Ms. L. Sharma, learned counsel or the OPs submits that she would not have any objection if the prayer for substitution is allowed. In view of the above, the prayer made in the I.A. stands allowed. Let the Page No.# 3/3 applicant herein, namely, Smt. Olympia Roy i.e. the wife of the deceased writ petitioner be impleaded as petitioner in place of the petitioner No.1 in the connected writ petition. The applicant to file amended cause title in the writ petition. I.A. stands disposed of.
