ORDER Date : 22-01-2024 The applicant/writ petitioner, by way of the present interlocutory application, has prayed for correction of a typographical error occasioning in the Page No.# 2/2 order dated 10.01.2024 passed by this Court in the connected writ petition being WP(C) No.78/2024. In Paragraph 3 of the order dated 10.01.2024, the date of birth of the petitioner, correction of which is sought for, has been reflected as "01.02.1972" in place on "01.02.1974". I have perused the materials available on record and have also heard the parties to the proceeding. The date as reflected in Paragraph 3 is on account of a typographical error and accordingly, the said date stands corrected as "01.02.1974". On account of the said correction, Paragraph 3 would now be read as follows:- "3. In such view of the matter, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Assam to consider the application of the petitioner for correction of his date of birth as "01.02.1974" in his matriculation records after having an enquiry made with regard to the facts disclosed in the birth certificate available at Annexure (C) dated 21.04.2018." The said order dated 10.01.2024 passed in WP(C) No.78/2024 be now read along with the present order and the date of birth of the petitioner, correction of which is sought for, be read as "01.02.1974" for all purposes.
