ORDER Date : 11.05.2024 The case is put up before the National Lok Adalat today. The appellant/claimant Md. Rinul Ali is personally present before the Court today. Mr. A. Munin Chowdhury, Regional Manager is representing United India Insurance Company Limited. In this case, the claimant has already been paid an amount of Rs.4,85,690/- by the Insurance Company. Now, this case is amicably settled between the parties on an arrangement that the Insurance Company shall pay an additional amount of Rs.1,00,000/- to the claimant. In view of the amicable settlement reached between the parties, the respondent No. 1 United India Insurance Company Limited is hereby directed to deposit additional amount of Rs.1,00,000/- to the Registry of this Court within a period of 45 days from the date of this order. On such deposit, the Registry of this Court shall disburse the said amount to the claimant after proper verification of his identity. This case is accordingly disposed of.
