08.05.2024 Heard Ms. U. Das, learned Addl. Senior Government Advocate for the State respondents. None represented on behalf of the petitioners when the matter is called. It appears that on the last occasion, i.e., 01.04.2022 when the matter was last listed, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Page No.# 3/3 It further appears that though this Court vide Order dated 03.03.2022 had directed the petitioners to take steps for service of notice upon the respondent No. 5, no such steps have been received by the section of this Court. Accordingly, the matter was placed before the Lawazima Court for passing necessary orders. The matter was taken up before the Lawazima Court on 01.03.2024, on which date also, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners. It further appears that the Lawazima Court was pleased to direct the petitioners to comply with the order of this Court dated 03.03.2022 within 7 (seven) days, failing which the matter was directed to be listed before this Court. Today, when the matter was called, none appears on behalf of the petitioners. Accordingly, this Court is of the considered view that this writ petition can be dismissed for non-prosecution.
