Acharya, learned counsel for the applicant/New India Assurance Company Ltd. And also heard Mr. M. Talukdar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of opposite party No. 1/ claimant. By filing this Interlocutory Application the applicant has sought for correction of the order dated 09.12.2023, passed in the National Lok Adalat in MAC Appeal No. 390/2023. In the said order it is inadvertently mentioned that the interest amount of Rs. 2,54,219/- (Rupees Two lakhs fifty four thousand two hundred and nineteen) only instead of Rs. 4, 54,219/- (Rupees four lakhs fifty four thousand two hundred and nineteen) only. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the parties and also considering the fact that there occurred an inadvertent typing error while typing the interest amount as Rs. 2,54,219/- ( Rupees Two lakhs fifty four thousand two hundred and nineteen) only instead of Rs. 4, 54,219/- (Rupees four lakhs fifty four thousand two hundred and nineteen) only, this application is allowed. Accordingly, in the order dated 09.12.2023, the interest amount mentioned in paragraph 2 and paragraph 3 as Rs. 2,54,219/- ( Rupees Two lakhs fifty four thousand two hundred and nineteen)only be substituted as Rs. 4, 54,219/- (Rupees four lakhs fifty four thousands two hundred and nineteen) only. Accordingly, the I.A. stands disposed of.
