ORDER Date : 24.06.2024 Heard Mr. A.H.M.R.Choudhury, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs. R.Devi, learned CGC appearing for all the respondents. On perusal of the issue arising in the present proceeding, it is seen that the petitioner herein is claiming for appointment on compassionate ground in the establishment under the Chief Post Master General, Assam. The issue as arising in the present proceeding concerns matter pertaining to recruitment to a Central government service which is governed by the provision of Section 14 of the Administrative Tribunal Act, 1985 and accordingly, the forum wherein such issue is to be agitated at the first instance would be the jurisdictional Central Administrative Tribunal. In view of the above position, Mr. A.H.M.R. Choudhury submits that he be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal in the matter. Prayer accepted. The petitioner is granted liberty to approach the appropriate forum i.e. the Central Administrative Tribunal, Guwahati Bench for redressel of his grievance. With the above observations and directions, the writ petition is dismissed, with the liberty as prayed for.
