Heard Mr. S.J. Sarmah, learned counsel for the applicant; Mr. P.S. Lahkar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State; and Ms. B. Bhuyan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. A.A. Dewan, learned counsel for the opposite party No. 2.

¶2This interlocutory application is preferred by the applicant namely, Kakoli Goswami for correction in cause-title for quashing and setting aside the order dated 28.01.2019, instead of order dated 17.03.2021, passed in P.R.C. Case No. 232/2017, under Sections 420/468/409 of the IPC, pending before the learned SDJM, Koliabor, Nagaon, Assam.

¶3Mr. Sarmah, learned counsel for the applicant has filed one petition under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. for quashing the order dated 17.03.2021, passed in P.R.C. Case No. 232/2017, under Sections 420/468/409 of the IPC, pending before the learned SDJM, Koliabor, Nagaon, but, inadvertently the applicant has mentioned the order dated 17.03.2021, instead of 28.01.2019, and as such, the applicant may be directed to correct the order dated 28.01.2019, instead of order dated 17.03.2021, in the cause-title.

¶4On the other hand, Mr. Lahkar, learned Addl. P.P. submits that he has no objection in the event of allowing the petition.

¶5Whereas, Ms. Bhuyan, learned counsel for the opposite party No. 2 submits that she has also no objection in the event of allowing the petition.

¶6Having heard the submissions of learned counsel for both the parties and also considering the facts and circumstances on the record, this Court provides that the impugned order in the cause-title of the Criminal Petition shall be corrected as 28.01.2019, instead of 17.03.2021. Page No.# 3/3

¶7In terms of above, this IA stands disposed of.
