O R D E R
09.01.2024 The instant Contempt Application has been filed alleging willful violation to the order dated 02.03.2015 passed in WP(C) No.848/2015 by Page No.# 2/2 this Court.
¶2This Court has duly taken note of the order dated 02.03.2015 passed by this Court in WP(C) No.848/2015.
¶3From a perusal of the said order, it reveals that notice of Motion was issued making it returnable on 01.04.2015 and further there was a direction of status-quo as on 02.03.2015 to be maintained in respect to the land in question until the next date fixed.
¶4The record further reveals that on 01.04.2015, the said status-quo order was not extended. This Court has also perused the Contempt Application, and more particularly, in paragraph No.18, it has been alleged that the violation of the order dated 02.03.2015 was on 18.04.2015 when the Contemnor No.1 had started digging up earth and piling boulders and gathered huge construction materials over the schedule land of the writ petition.
¶5Taking into account that there was no status-quo order beyond
01.04.2015 in WP(C) No.848/2015 and the allegation made in the instant Contempt Application is post 01.04.2015, the instant Contempt Application is misconceived for which the same stands closed.
