¶1Heard Mr. T.J. Mahanta, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Mr. T. Gogoi for the applicant/informant. Also heard Mr. A. Desai, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Mr. R.B. Phukan, learned counsel for the respondent and Mr. M. Phukan, learned P.P. for the State respondent.

¶2This is an application filed under Section 389 Cr.P.C of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking the impleadment of the applicant/informant in the bail application No. 158/2024 as respondent/intervener.

¶3I have heard the submissions made at the Bar and I have perused the grounds mentioned in the impleadment application.

¶4It is submitted at the Bar that the applicant/informant was impleaded by the Apex Court in the anticipatory bail application filed by the wife of the accused/petitioner, namely, Tejaswini Sachin Adhikari pending before the Apex Page No.# 3/3 Court.

¶5The grounds mentioned in the impleadment application appears to be sufficient for allowing the informant to be added as an arrayed respondent in the bail application.

¶6Accordingly, the prayer is allowed. The applicant/informant is accordingly impleaded as party respondent.

¶7The amendment cause title be submitted in the office of the Registry and thereafter, the office of the Registrar (Judicial) shall do the needful.

¶8With the above observation, this interlocutory application stands allowed.

¶9This disposes of the interlocutory application.
