Heard Mr. T. Sk, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioners and Mr. B. J. Talukdar, the learned Senior Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the District Administration as well as the Settlement Officer of Cachar and Hailakandi.

¶2Mr. B. J. Talukdar the learned Senior Government Advocate for the Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 submits that if the Petitioners duly submit the application before the Office of the Settlement Officer i.e. the Respondent No.3, the Respondent No.3 shall duly consider the same.

¶3Mr. T. Sk, the learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners would duly submit their application before the Respondent No.3 within 30 days from today.

¶4It is observed that if such application is submitted before the Settlement Officer within the period above mentioned, the Respondent No.3 shall duly consider the same in accordance with law.

¶5With above observations and directions, the instant petition stands disposed of.
