Heard Mr. J. Abedin, learned counsel appearing for the applicant. This application has been preferred for impleading the current incumbents in the post of Secretary to the Government of Assam, Department of School Education and Director of Elementary Education, Assam as party respondent Nos. 4 and 5 in Contempt Cas(C) No. 106/2021. The averments made in the said application have been perused and being satisfied that the said persons are necessary parties for implementation of the directions passed by this Court vide order dated 22.01.2020 in WP(C) No. 6130/2015, it is held that they are required to be impleaded as party respondents. Accordingly, the petitioner is permitted to implead (i) Shri Narayan Konwar, IAS, The Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Department of School Education, Assam, Guwahati 781006 as respondent No.4 and (ii) Smti. Suranjana Senapati, ACS, The Director of Elementary Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati 781019 as respondent No. 5. Accordingly, the interlocutory application stands disposed of.
