¶1The instant contempt application has been filed seeking initiation of contempt proceedings for willful disobedience and violation of the order dated

29.04.2014 passed by this Court in WP(C) No.4673/2009.

¶2This Court has duly perused the order dated 29.04.2014 passed in WP(C) No.4673/2009. From a perusal of the said order, it reveals that this Court had directed the Departmental Authorities to re-examine the issue by taking note of the Petitioner's reply dated 24.09.2009 and thereafter to take a fresh decision on the contract in question. The said aspect was in the context of the forfeiture of the security and penalty of Rs.3,60,000/-.

¶3It appears from a perusal of the contempt application that various Respondents have been impleaded and it is also seen that the said original respondents have retired for which there has been impleadment of the incumbents as would appear from the order dated 21.06.2016. The question as to whether the said order has yet been complied with and further as to whether the Respondents are presently holding the post who are in a position to comply with the order passed by this Court cannot be ascertained taking into account Page No.# 3/3 that the Petitioner is not represented.

¶4Consequently, this Court therefore closes the instant contempt application.
