Heard Mr. B Islam, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. MP Page No.# 2/2 Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the respondent State. This is an application under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for granting bail to the petitioners, namely, 1.Mojir Uddin and 2. Rahena Khatun, who were arrested on

22.10.2023 in connection with Karimganj P.S. Case No.816/2023 under Sections 21(b)/22(c)/25/29 of the NDPS Act. Mr. MP Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam submits that charge sheet vide charge sheet No.50/24 dated 16.02.2024 had already been laid against the petitioners. In view of the above, the petitioners above-named, if so advised, shall appear before the learned court below with an appropriate application for regular bail, which the learned court below shall consider on its own merit. With the above direction, this application stands disposed of.
