ORDER Date : 10-12-2024 Heard Mr. K. Bhuyan, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. R. Borah, learned Standing Counsel, APDCL.

¶2Mr. Bhuyan, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved with non-inclusion of his name in the Office Order dated 14.12.2023 (Annexure-5) issued by the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited, enlisting the name of the outsourced workers employed by the company. According to the petitioner, he has been working under the company for the last 10 (ten) years and his name should figure in the said list.

¶3A perusal of the terms and conditions to the Office Order goes to show that if there is any objection from any quarters regarding inclusion or deletion of names from the list, a petition should be submitted to the office of the Chief General Manager (HRA), APDCL through proper channel. It only appears that the petitioner has not submitted such petition/application.

¶4Therefore, without expressing anything on merit, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to submit his petition/application for inclusion of his name in the list issued vide Office Order dated 14.12.2023 within a period of 7 (seven) days from today. Upon such submission, the respondent authority concerned shall examine the same and consider inclusion of the name of the petitioner amongst his employees. Such consideration be Page No.# 3/3 done within a period of 6 (six) weeks from the date of receipt of the petition/application.
