Heard Ms. A. Talukdar, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr. S. Bora, learned counsel for the alleged contemnor by placing an order dated 12.06.2023 issued by the Director of Education, BTC, Kokrajhar submits that on receipt of the interim order passed by this Court on 02.09.2022 and 15.12.2022 in WP(C) 5674/2022, the appointment of Sri Ajit Goyari has been cancelled. He submits that the interim order referred to above has already been complied with. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the respondents have proceeded to select and appoint the respondent No.5, by this time vide order dated 12.06.2023, the appointment pursuant to the selection process has been cancelled, therefore, admittedly there is no violation of the interim order of this Court. Having considered the submissions and taking note of the order dated 12.06.2023, I am of the view that there is no violation of the interim order passed by this Court. In view of the above, the contempt petition stands closed.
