ORDER

18.09.2024

Mr. J Sarmah, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that taking into account that the petitioner has already received the amount, the petitioner would not like to press the instant writ petition.

¶2Accordingly this Court dismisses the instant writ petition on withdrawal.

¶3Before parting with the records, this Court expresses anguish and surprise at the conduct of both the counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioner as well as the respondents for not informing this Court about the disbursement made in the month of August 2023. Both the counsels appeared before this Court on

15.09.2023, 16.10.2023, 22.04.2024, 29.07.2024 and 21.08.2024 and never apprised this Court. Precious judicial time had been spent on passing orders and hearing the writ petition from time to time. It was only on 13.09.2024, this Court was informed about the disbursement of the amount to the petitioners in the month of August, 2023. Page No.# 3/3

¶4The conduct of both the counsels appearing on behalf of both the petitioner and the respondents amounts to abusing the process of the Court for which their actions are deprecated and they are reprimanded by this judicial order. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
