Judgment
ORDER Date : 27.03.2024 Mr.N.K. Kalita, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that she has already paid the total amount of Rs.3,50,000/- to the respondent No.2. Page No.# 2/2 Ms. K. Jain, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No. 2 submits that the respondent No. 2 has received the aforesaid amount of Rs.3,50,000/- from the petitioner. Ms. Jain submits that she is no longer pressing for imprisonment of the petitioner. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for both sides. Since the money has been paid and since Ms. Jain is not pressing for imprisonment of the petitioner, the matter ends here. The impugned judgment dated 22.11.2019 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barpeta in NI Case No. 11/2018 as well as the judgment dated 27.9.2021 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Barpeta in Crl. Appeal No. 25/2019 are set aside. The criminal revision petition is disposed off accordingly. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
