Heard Mr. S. K. Das, learned counsel appearing for the accused petitioners as well as Mr. M. P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. By this interlocutory application, the petitioner has prayed for extension of the conditional bail order dated 19.12.2023 passed by this Court in BA No. 3220/2023. Page No.# 2/2 Seen the report of the Senior Medical and Health Officer, Karimganj wherein the son of the present petitioner is under treatment. It is reported that the son of the petitioner, namely, Asuf Ahmed is admitted in NRC (Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre) under Karimganj Civil Hospital with severe acute malnutrition (SAM) and he is under treatment. It is also reported that the baby is improving and will be discharged soon. On the basis of the report submitted by the Medical Officer, the Superintendent of District Jail, Karimganj is directed to send the petitioner to Civil Hospital, Karimganj to feed her child for 2-3 hours in a day with police protection until the son of the petitioner is discharged from the hospital. In view of above, this interlocutory application stands disposed of.
