Heard Mr. M.U. Mondal, learned counsel for the applicants and Mr. B. Sharma, learned Addl. P.P. for the State respondent.

¶2This application, under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is preferred by the six applicants namely, Jakir Hussain; Kamar Uddin Sheikh; Jitendra Nath Bhakat; Saibul Hoque; Mahijur Rahman; and Ibrahim Fakir, who have been apprehending arrest in connection with any case lodged by the Secretary Page No.# 3/3 of Baterhat Gaon Panchayat.

¶3Pursuant to the order of this Court dated 26.02.2024, the learned Addl. P.P. has obtained information from the Officer In-Charge of Golakganj PS and submits that the Officer In-Charge has confirmed that no case is pending in Golakganj PS, against the present applicants.

¶4In view of above, this application becomes infructuous and accordingly, the same stands closed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
